I would like to change the dates of my visit

Welcome to planDisney, Dorothea, and thank you for that great question! Although the Frozen characters tell us that some things never change, we know that in real life, many things totally do! I'm excited you're still planning to head to Walt Disney World Resort, so let's see if we can get those dates changed and get YOU to the magic.

The two main pieces you'll need to modify are your Disney Resort Hotel reservation and your Theme Park Tickets. Let's start with your hotel dates. When you log in online to your My Disney Experience account, click on My Plans, and then scroll down to your hotel reservation. If you are able to make changes online, you'll see a Change Reservation link to click on. If you do not see that option, then you can call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and a friendly Cast Member will be able to help you. Be sure to have your confirmation number handy, and remember that changes are dependent on availability.

To change the dates of your Theme Park Tickets, select the tickets you'd like to change in your My Disney Experience account. If your ticket start dates can be changed, you will see a Change option. Ticket pricing is date dependent, so if the new dates cost more than your existing tickets, you would be prompted online to pay the balance. If you don't see a way to modify the ticket dates online, I'd recommend calling the Existing Ticket line to see if a Cast Member has some options for you.

If you've made the required Theme Park Reservations for your existing dates, don't forget to change those once you have your new dates. This can also be done through My Disney Experience under the Theme Park Reservations tab.

I hope your new dates bring a new level of magic to your trip, Dorothea! Please stop back by to ask me any other questions you might have.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
