Hi Corinna! Welcome to planDisney. Choosing the right dates for a Disneyland visit can feel like an important puzzle piece, and I’m happy to help you understand how to adjust your plans if your schedule changes.
When you purchased your
theme park tickets, you selected specific visit dates and a starting theme park for each day. Those selections created your
theme park reservations, which are required alongside valid admission to enter
Disneyland Park. The good news is that these reservations aren’t set in stone. If your plans shift, you can change your dates as long as there’s availability for the new days you’d like to visit.
To update your reservations, log in to your
MyDisney account and head to the My Plans section. There, you’ll see a list of your upcoming reservations with options to manage them. Select the reservation you’d like to change and follow the prompts to modify or cancel it. Once your new dates are confirmed, you’ll receive an updated confirmation email reflecting the changes. Before finalizing anything, it’s always a smart idea to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar. You can filter by ticket type to make sure you’re viewing the correct availability for your specific tickets.
If you’re adjusting your visit and hoping to make the most of your time in the parks, you may also want to consider adding
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It’s a great option for fitting more attractions into a shorter visit without feeling rushed. My wife and I often plan quick trips ourselves, and Multi Pass has been a huge help in keeping our days flexible and fun. One of my favorite features is that even if you start your day in Disneyland and have a park hopper ticket, you can book a Lightning Lane return time for an attraction in
Disney California Adventure Park right from the
Disneyland app. Just open the Lightning Lane section, choose your attraction, and your return time will be set.
I hope this helps you confidently update your plans, Corinna, and makes the process feel a little easier. If more questions come up as you finalize your dates or plan your park days, we’d love to welcome you back here at planDisney.
Wishing you smooth planning and just the right dates for a magical Disneyland visit,
David
