Do you by chance know what the Military discount is for the resorts and what hotels do you suggest for 3/4 adults and 2 children? I'm getting SUPER excited as this will be the first and second trip for my 2 daughters.

    Hi Alissa,

Thank you and your family for serving our country! I am grateful for all you do to protect this country.

As for the list of hotels, the offers for military discounts can be found on the Special Offers & Deals page of the Disney website. The rates are not listed on this page but when you book they will tell you the amount. I love a deal on resorts because it generally is the best savings available. You also can receive a deal on park tickets as well.

As for resorts, you do not mention the ages of your daughters. Generally, resorts closest to the theme parks are most expensive but are the easiest to travel to with children in strollers. This is because you do not collapse the strollers to travel to and from the resort to the park. However, there are many other options and I will name my favorite in each category:

Deluxe-Polynesian Village Resort, Yacht Club Resort, Beach Club Resort, Boardwalk Inn Resort
Moderate-Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter, Coronado Springs Resort
    Value-Pop Century, Art of Animation

If you all want to be together in one room, look at villas (deluxe) or family suites (Art of Animation or All-Star Music).

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
