Any chance that the Hall of Pres will be reopened any earlier than expected? We will be there 6/8-15 and desperately want to see this attraction and can't afford another trip back for several years.

The scheduled re-opening date for  the Hall of Presidents is July 1, 2009. Disney often does "soft openings" or limited tests of new or refurbished attractions 2-3 weeks before the official opening date, so it is certainly possible that you could get a sneak peek at the Hall.

However, my semi-educated guess (the Moms have no inside scoop) is that a soft opening will not happen with the Hall of Presidents. The introduction of an audioanimatron of the first African-American president is a BIG deal. My feeling is that Disney will want to get the most possible publicity for this, which will likely mean limiting pre-opening access to the public.

It is extremely unlikely that the official opening date will be changed. But while you are at WDW, you should certainly go by the attraction to check whether any tests or previews are being conducted. Again, my guess is that there won't be, but you should keep your fingers crossed just in case.
