    Any chance there will be fireworks on July 4th at Downtown Disney? My parents and siblings are coming to Orlando, on the 4th but cannot afford park tickets. Any celebrations for the 4th at DD?

    Hi Amy! Downtown Disney does not host a fireworks display on Independence Day, and we haven't received word of any other special 4th of July events happening there. Since many guests will head to the parks on July 4th to see the special fireworks shows, Downtown Disney may be less crowded, and thus, a great destination for your family to enjoy a nice meal and some shopping.

    If your family really wants to see fireworks on Independence Day, consider having dinner outside the parks at the Polynesian or Grand Floridian Resort. Some of the restaurants at those resorts, such as 'Ohana and Narcoossee's, have views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, and you can also stroll out to the beach after your meal to watch them.
