Can cellphones be brought onto rides at Walt Disney World? And where can backpacks be left prior to boarding a ride?

    Hi there, Prudence!

Your vacation to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" is almost hEAR! I love that you are beginning the new yEAR and decade at the Walt Disney World Resort. I know how excited you must be right now!

Prudence, I always enter the theme parks with my backpack filled with everything my family may need for the day, including sunscreen, sunglasses, ponchos, hand wipes, water bottles, portable chargers, and charging cords. I carry this backpack on every attraction as there is space either on the ride's floorboard or in the pouch on the seatback in each ride compartment. And I wouldn't call my backpack a small-sized bag! Cell phones are also permitted on attractions, so you can slide your phone in your backpack or into the pouch if available (I usually make my family take a selfie before I tuck mine away!). There is a list of prohibited items you may want to familiarize yourself with before you leave.

I'm so happy your vacation will be underway in less than 48 hours, Prudence. I know you are ready to explore the epic new land at Disney's Hollywood Studios-Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, take a pixie-dusted flight on the brand-new Disney Skyliner, and experience all the magic and wonder that comes with a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Enjoy every MAGICAL minute!
