Are there cell phone charging stations in the parks?

    Hiya William,

Welcome back to planDisney. It won't be long now until you are on your way to The World's Most Magical Celebration. Not only will you be there to enjoy all the festivities surrounding the 50th anniversary, you will also be able to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This culinary delight invites Guests to nibble and sip their way around The World Showcase by enjoying food and beverage options from six continents. Be sure to come hungry!

With so many exciting things to see, of course you will want to take plenty of photos and videos. Plus, you will want to make sure you are using the My Disney Experience mobile app to keep track of your advanced dining reservations, view attraction wait times and track down your favorite Disney characters. That is definitely a lot of battery usage on your smartphone. Good news - if you are visiting Magic Kingdom you will have access to two mobile charging locations. If you are relaxing at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you will typically find a number of outlets available to recharge your battery. Be sure to carry your recharging cable however, as those are not provided.

In addition to those options, you are welcome to bring a portable battery with you into the theme parks. There are a number of great options out there, but our favorite are the ones with the solar option where the battery is not only charging our phones, but recharging itself at the same time. Lastly, there are a number of kiosks located at the four theme parks and Disney Springs where you can purchase a portable phone charging system. My son had to do that on our last trip and it was extremely easy to locate a kiosk and purchase the portable battery. Plus, once the power drained on the battery, he was able to return it to a different kiosk and swap it (for a small fee) for a fully charged battery.

Hope this helps keep your battery charged so you can capture even more memories. If I can help with any further planning questions, please stop back and see me
