is there a celebration on july fourth at the magic kingdom

    Hi Dennis,

We spent the Fourth of July at Disney World about four years ago. I have to say it was the best Fourth of July (also most crowded and hot) we have ever had!

While it is to early for any formal announcement on the theme of the holiday at Magic Kingdom, I can almost guarantee that there will be a special Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza on that day. Often they produce the same show on both the third and fourth to help with the crowds and increase the number of guests that can experience the fireworks display. If you do plan on spending this holiday there, be sure to plan on spending the day at the park. It often reaches capacity early in the day and if you leave the park or have not arrived yet, there is a chance you will not be able to get in to enjoy the show.
