We are celebrating 20 year wedding anniversary in May while at Disney World Orlando. What are some special ways to celebrate to include our 3 kids

    Hey there, Lisa!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney, and what a fun question you've brought our way! Celebrating your 20th wedding anniversary at the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds incredible. What a beautiful way to honor two decades of love, laughter, and happily ever after! And the fact that you'll be celebrating alongside your three children makes it even more special. Sharing this milestone as a family will create memories you'll treasure forever. From magical park days to those little in-between moments filled with joy and wonder, it's sure to be a celebration worthy of your love story!

There are countless magical ways to celebrate your anniversary as a family at Walt Disney World, each offering its own special touch to make your milestone even more memorable. Let's take a look at a few of my favorite ideas.

At the very top of my list is booking a Capture Your Moment photo session. During these private sessions, Disney PhotoPass photographers work with you to capture beautiful, professional photos of your family celebrating your special occasion. You can book a session at any of the four theme parks, whether it's in front of Cinderella Castle, wandering through World Showcase, capturing the majesty of the Tree of Life, or enjoying an out-of-this-world experience in Galaxy's Edge. These sessions are a fantastic way to preserve the magic and create keepsakes that you'll treasure for years to come.

Another really fun way to celebrate your anniversary is by booking a Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom. I especially love the Seats and Sweets option...it's such a treat! You get a reserved spot to watch the fireworks, plus an amazing spread of desserts inspired by each land in Magic Kingdom, as well as specialty drinks for the whole family to enjoy. It's the perfect way to relax, indulge a little, and take in Happily Ever After. It's such a magical way to end a day at the park!

Another truly magical and unique experience is to book a Fireworks Cruise. These private boat experiences let your family watch the fireworks from the water. You can choose between Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, and each cruise comes with a friendly captain and a selection of snacks and soft drinks to enjoy while you soak in the magic together.

At the start of your trip, I suggest having your whole family swing by Guest Relations at any of the theme parks or the front desk of your Disney Resort to pick up Celebration Buttons. These fun little buttons are an easy way to let Cast Members, and even other Guests, know that you're celebrating a special milestone, adding an extra sprinkle of magic to your visit!

Lisa, I hope this gives you some fun ideas for celebrating your anniversary with your kids! If any other questions come up as you continue planning, you're always welcome to stop by planDisney!
