We are celebrating my son's 6th Birthday in July at DIsney. Is there an address i can write to them and have the characters send something back to him before we arrive?

    Hey Michelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you for bringing us this great question.

Getting a postcard from a Disney character will definitely be a great way to get your son excited for his Disney birthday celebration. I did the same thing for my daughter when she was 5-years-old. You have a couple options to get a letter from a Disney character:
    • The DisBoards (a huge Disney message board) has a thread called the "Fairy Godmailer List Part II". On this thread you leave a message asking someone to send your child a postcard or letter. You can add information such as your child's favorite character, age and things you have planned while at Walt Disney World. The Fairy Godmailer will then send your child a message while they are at Disney.
    • Another way to get a letter from a character is to do it yourself. There are lots of website which you can download Disney character letterhead. This is what I did. I would then have friends and family write a message to my daughter on the letterhead. I did this so each letter would have different handwriting. In all honesty, I doubt she even noticed that little detail. :-)

Make sure to stop by Guest Services when you first arrive in the parks and pick up at Happy Birthday button for your son. You never know what magical moments can happen while he is wearing the button.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
