Hello Christa, and welcome to planDisney!
First of all, happy early birthday to your little prince! Celebrating his 3rd birthday at Disneyland sounds like a dream come true. And with the 3-day California pass and those dates reserved, you're in for a magical celebration! When I take my little man-cub to the theme parks for his birthday next month, I plan to pick up a special celebration button for him at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A., so that every cast member we meet will be sure to send a little extra pixie dust his way! I may even have his silhouette portrait made at the
Silhouette Studio for a special keepsake.
Now on your little Mouseketeer’s actual birthday, the 5th, you'll need to purchase a separate
theme park ticket and
make a reservation for him. But believe me, it's worth every penny to see those eyes light up when he meets his favorite Disney characters and enjoys all the rides and attractions.
And Christa, have you considered making a reservation for a
character breakfast dining location? I find that it's the best way for you to satisfy your rumbly tummy and for your little Mouseketeers to meet Mickey & Friends in one place. The
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn is popular, but
Goofy’s Kitchen holds a special place in my heart because we’ve spent the last two Mother’s Days there. This year my little man-cub got an epic 2-minute and 33-second hug from Minnie. How magical is that?! He also enjoyed chewing on the famous Mickey Waffles, and my husband enjoyed his fill of chilaquiles while I indulged in the eggs benedict station too.
Feel free to keep those questions coming, Christa! I’d love to share my favorite
tips or
suggestions for your trip to the Disneyland Resort. I was hoping you could think of me as your own personal Cheshire Cat, here to guide you and cheer you on along the way. If you need a quicker response next time, feel free to send me a
direct message now that you've got a friend in me!
A very merry unbirthday to you,
Danielle
