    hello, we're celebrating my sons 5th birthday at chef mickey.do I have to order a cake ahead of time or can I just let them know when we get there that we are celebrating a birthday? thanks

    Hello to a fellow Ontarian Keri! How lucky is your son, celebrating his birthday at Disney World! Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort is a fantastic character buffet. He'll get to spend time with Mickey and his pals, a perfect way to celebrate his special day. If you want to order a special cake, call the cake hotline at (407) 827-2253 and they'll let you know all your options.  this has to be done at least 72 hours in advance. Here is the link to some of the many celebration options.

    Be sure to pick up a Happy Birthday! button for your son to wear on his special day. He'll love all the special attention he'll receive. You can get it at your resort concierge desk or any theme park Guest Services.
