Celebrating 2DDs 10th & 15th B-days! ADRs for dinner at CRT. Made res for younger daughter at BBB. Any ideas as to where to take 15 year old? BBB no longer excepts over 12 yrs. Would it just be easier to take both to GF Trellis Salon for up-dos

    Hi Michelle,

Unless your 10yo is super into princesses, I think you have a great idea.

My three daughters and I have had our hair done at the Ivy Trellis Salon several times - most recently when the girls were 11 and 14 years old. The stylists were wonderful with the kids. They listened to exactly what we wanted and were able to execute it perfectly. They are also able to interject whatever level of Disney magic the child wants into the experience. For example, one of my 11yo twins wanted to be more of a big girl, so she got a sophisticated cut. The other 11yo was still in princess mode, so she got a more fanciful style, topped with a big sprinkle of pixie dust.

If you're thinking of having your own hair done, I also recommend this. One of the stylists, Carmen, gave me the best blow-out I've ever had in my life. Even in the Florida humidity my hair stayed straight for nearly four days. She's a magician.

The thing you'll be missing by going to the Ivy Trellis instead of the BBB is the costume. You can always buy a costume at one of the shops and have your daughter put it on in the rest room. Works just the same.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
