Celebrating my daughters graduation for a week at WDW in late June. Have about 20 (family florida residents) meeting us there for a dinner on one of the nights. Looking for ideas for dinner reservation outside the parks without breaking the bank. Thanks

Hi Scott! What a fantastic graduation present for your daughter!

Walt Disney World has lots of wonderful restaurants located outside of the theme parks. While Signature restaurants such as The Flying Fish at the Boardwalk, the Yachtsman at the Yacht Club, or Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian are great places to celebrate a special occasion, they're definitely a splurge.  If you're looking for a less expensive option, consider a restaurant at Downtown Disney. The Wolfgang Puck Cafe is a fine dining option that's more moderately priced, and the menu has something to please everyone. Maybe your group could head to Splitsville for some late-night luxury bowling after dinner?

If most of your crowd are adventurous diners, you may also want to consider Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The African-inspired food at this eatery is unique and tasty and your family would enjoy gazing at the animals on the savanna at this beautiful resort.

June is a popular month to visit Disney and a reservation for 20 can be difficult to find at the last minute, so I recommend you go ahead and call 407-WDW-DINE to make your reservation now. You may also want to contact the manager of the restaurant that you choose so that you can make arrangements for your group.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
