Hi Christian!
It's wonderful that Walt Disney World does not require a park ticket to enter any of the parks for children under the age of three. You will not need to purchase your child a ticket if they turn three during the trip, as long as they were two on the first day you visited the parks.
Children under the three are welcome to share from your plate at any of the Walt Disney World restaurants and are not required to be on a dining plan. Therefore, if you purchased the
Magic Your Way Vacation Package with the
Disney Dining Plan, your two-year old will not be included in the plan.
You can purchase your two year old a meal from the children's menu separately or you can share a meal. At the Disney Dining locations that offer an all-you-care-to-eat buffet, your two-year old can get a plate and eat off the buffet.
I highly recommend
Chef Mickey's, as they have great characters, such as Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald. Another one of my favorite Disney buffets is
Crystal Palace, as it is in
Magic Kingdom and you can eat with Winnie the Pooh!
Magically,
Stacy
