I will be celebrating my 21st Birthday with a much needed Disney vacation all by myself. I have no desire to drink. Is there any ideas you could give me to make the most out of my trip? Im staying at the Contemporary and have the Deluxe Dinning plan. :)

Hi, Meagan!  Congratulations on celebrating this milestone birthday!  My own daughter is thinking of a Walt Disney World vacation to celebrate her 21st birthday later this year!

The best thing about a solo trip to Walt Disney World is that you can do anything you want!  The World is, literally, all yours to discover!  You have time when you are by yourself to stop and smell the roses, whereas when you travel with family or friends, you have to be mindful of who is hungry when, who needs a pit stop, who wants to go where.  Do some of the things you've never done at Walt Disney World, either because the company you were traveling with didn't want to, or because you didn't have time.

Take advantage of the single rider line at things like Test Track.  These help you get through the line at some attractions quicker, because you will fill in spaces on attraction vehicles instead of waiting with a big party.

Make advanced dining reservations for the meals you absolutely don't want to miss.  And when you make those reservations, don't forget to mention it's your birthday!  You never know where there might be a little extra pixie dust sprinkled!

You might also want to look into treating yourself to a special tour.  You could do the Wild Africa Trek and see some of Animal Kingdom many don't get to see, or try one of the Segway tours.

Don't forget to pick up your birthday button so that everyone knows you're celebrating!  It's always fun to be wished a happy birthday!

And speaking of, I wish you an absolutely magical, fantastically memorable 21st birthday!
