Sounds like you're planning a perfect birthday celebration Dawn! Traveling solo to Disney World is an adventure, and I'm sure you'll have a blast. One of the many perks of traveling alone is you get to enjoy what you want, when you want to do it. Here are a few ideas:
Treat yourself. Visit the spa and indulge in a treatment. Perhaps a massage, facial, or mani/pedi would be the perfect birthday treat. Spas are located at the
Grand Floridian,
Saratoga Springs or the
Mandara Spa at the Swan and Dolphin.
Take a tour.
Mickey's Magical Milestones Tour takes you around the Magic Kingdom, and for two hours, tells you all about Mickey Mouse's career. If you're interested in a longer tour,
Backstage Magic is a day-long adventure, taking you backstage at Epcot, the Magic Kingdom and the Hollywood Studios. Click
here for a listing of all tours.
Buy yourself a pretty birthday present! There are shops everywhere - you can pick yourself up an international treat at one of the shops in Epcot's World Showcase. Or head to Downtown Disney, and be sure to stop in at
TrenD, the super chic shop.
Restaurant hop. Pick a few you've always wanted to try and pop in for a drink and appetizer. One easy way is to visit the resorts on the monorail route - Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Polynesian resorts.
Wishinf you a magical birthday Dawn!
