Celebrating our ann belatedly 30+ yrs ago on our hm we ate at the top of the Contemporary. I would like to surprise my DW with dinner at Calif Grill Would the chef prepare a plain steak & potato. Can we order the slipper Is the slipper avail at GF?

I love this story. You are such a romantic!

The signature dining restaurants such as the California Grill do have the ability to customize a dish to accommodate a guest's food allergy or simply a food preference. So for example, you could have the filet of beef on the menu cooked in any way that you request, with any sauces or accompaniments on the side, or removed completely. Similarly you could have your beef with the crushed potatoes (like mashed potatoes) that are listed with the halibut dish, instead of the cheese pasta that normally comes with the beef. Just speak with your server and they will make every effort to meet your dining needs. This really is a special place for a meal and they want you to be happy.

I did have a nibble of the chocolate slipper dessert at Cinderella's Royal Table during our Moms Panel training trip. So pretty! But Panelist Kim is our resident expert on the slipper. I'm going to point you to here posts HERE, HERE and HERE where she tells all about it.  The slipper is available at the Royal Table and a restaurants in the Grand Floridian.

Happy anniversary and I hope you have 30 more wonderful years!
