We will celebrate our 15 year anniversary at WDW on 10/25. Unfortunatly we just found out my husband has a serious spinal issue that prevents him from flying and will require surgery. If we can't go on our trip will we be able to get a refund or reschedule

    Hi Kristi,

Congratulations on 15 years of marriage! What a wonderful milestone to celebrate with your husband.

I am sorry to hear that he is not feeling well and you are concerned about your trip. First, did you take out insurance on your trip? If so, reach out to that company to see what you can be refunded. If you do not have travel insurance, contact the company you booked your trip with to figure out options. They will know what the refund policy is for your trip. You also may have to talk to not only the hotel you are staying with but also the airline depending on how your trip was booked.

Finally, certain credit cards may have protection built into their card. I would reach out to your credit card company if you used one to book your trip.

Another option might be to move the date of your trip. This might only result in a change fee and you might not lose as much money.

    Wishing you a magical day!
