I want to celebrate WDW in December 2023 after Christmas. How early can I buy park tickets? Thank you.

    Hello Leta! Welcome to planDisney!

There's nothing quite like celebrating the holidays in The Most Magical Place on Earth, so I definitely understand your excitement in wanting to start booking your incredible vacation. This year, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is back, with family favorite fireworks like Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show and extra-festive parades like Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.  While I can't guarantee every magical moment will be part of the holiday spirit at Walt Disney World Resort next Christmas, I can promise you'll find so much joy in seeing the Parks and Resorts decked out for the holiday season.

Depending on your chosen dates for your Resort stay you may be able to start booking right away! Right now, Guests looking to stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, purchase Theme Park Tickets, or vacation packages are able to book all the way through December 31, 2023!
While I don't have a set date for the release of 2024 vacation packages, usually we start to see this information and booking ability in late spring or early summer. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest information about your favorite Disney Destinations!

After you've chosen your Disney Resort and purchased your Theme Park Tickets, make sure to make your Theme Park Reservations! Right now, all Guests entering Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks need both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation in order to enter their first Park of the day.  You can make these reservations as soon as you have purchased your Tickets, so start thinking about which days you'll spend on safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which days you'll shrink down to the size of a toy and enter Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios and which days you'll plan to be part of the fantasy and wonder of Magic Kingdom.  Get excited, because planning is half the fun!

    See ya real soon, Leta!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
