    Can I celebrate my son 1st birhthday at Blizzard Beach or any other water park on November 8, 2008? Do they have some kind of area were the family can get together just to sing happy birthday and then keep having fun at the park? Weather too cold?

    If you want to celebrate at a water park, then Blizzard Beach is your only option, because Typhoon Lagoon will be out of service in November for annual maintenance. That's fine because I happen to LOVE Blizzard Beach :-)

    There is no dedicated "birthday zone" at BB, but there are plenty of areas with picnic tables and high chairs that you could gather around. Two of my favorite WDW sweet treats are at Blizzard Beach: mini donuts and funnel cake. I would send someone in your group to get a bunch of these amazingly delicious desserts right before you're ready to serenade the birthday boy. So yummy!

    As far as the weather goes ... The average daytime highs in early November at WDW are in the high 70s. That's great for a water park in my book. However, you will want to check the forecast right before your trip. If you are traveling during a cold snap, then you might be chilly at the water park, but unless this is the case, you'll be fine.
