We want to celebrate our granddaughters 4th birthday at CRT. The only reservation we could get is 8:15pm. At her age will she enjoy it or should we make other arrangements and what would you recommend. Thanks from crmamaw

Obviously every child is different and as has a different tolerance for late nights and disruptions in their schedule. When my girls were 4 years old, they would not have made it awake until 8:15, since they typically got up before 6:00 a.m. Another thing to consider is how a late night will impact your plans for the next day. Do you have breakfast plan for the next morning that you could rearrange? Perhaps if your grand daughter is a later sleeper and you got her to have a good long nap, then you might all enjoy the 8:15 seating at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you feel that this would be too challenging, I do have some other ideas for you to try.

    - Keep calling Disney dining to see if an earlier reservation opens up. People do sometimes cancel reservations at even the most popular WDW restaurants. I've called Disney as often as once a day to try to get a reservation at a particular restaurant. Sometimes this does work. You should also consider looking at breakfast and lunch at the Royal Table, as only the Fairy Godmother is in the dining room during dinner.

    - Try to get a reservation at the Epcot Princess Storybook meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner) or the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Both of these also have lots of appeal for little princesses.

    - Try to get a Royal Table reservation for a different day of your trip. WDW knows that birth dates and birthday celebrations can't always mesh exactly. Your grand daughter could get the full royal birthday treatment at the Royal Table regardless of what day it is.

Hope this gives you some ideas.
