Hi Menucha,
Happy early birthday! I would love to give you some advice on planning the best birthday ever!
If you need both a hotel and theme park tickets, I suggest you consider booking a vacation package. Vacation packages include both your hotel stay and theme park tickets. There are two types of vacation packages: a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Package or a
Good Neighbor Hotel Package.
A
Disneyland Resort Hotel Package is for those wishing to stay on-property at
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the
Disneyland Hotel, or
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. If you and your guests are all adults, I recommend Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, as there are tons of lounges and upscale places to dine here. I celebrated my 26th birthday at the
Napa Rose inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and it was one of the best birthdays I have ever had. However, if you are coming with kids, you may want to consider the other two hotels that offer fun restaurants for the whole family.
The other option is to book a
Good Neighbor Hotel Package. Good Neighbor Hotels are not owned by Disney but are Disney-approved for their quality. The benefit of a Good Neighbor Hotel is that they are more affordable than staying on-property and are often walking distance to Disneyland Resort. My favorite Good Neighbor Hotel is the
Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort.
Again, happy birthday, and have a fantastic time!
Best,
Lola
