Cdn DVC member, If the border does not reopen EOY. I lose my 2020 banked use yr pts. What will be my options for the 225 points I used and how will member services handle my cancellation when it is mixed with 2021 pts? (leniency on not losing 2021pts)

    Hiya Tami!

Welcome BACK to planDisney, a group of Disney vacation enthusiasts eager to help you make the most out of your vacations! This past year has been filled with uncertainty, with many vacations having to be canceled as a result of travel restrictions. I think we could all use some of that Disney magic we all know and love right now, and I remain hopeful that it is just around the river bend.

You will need to speak with Member Services directly by calling (800) 800-9800 to discuss what options are available to you if your upcoming Disney Vacation Club vacation has to be canceled. Some policies have been modified temporarily regarding expiring Vacation Points, so I encourage you to discuss the policies and how they pertain to your specific Disney Vacation Club Membership when you call. An option that you may want to discuss with Member Services is exchanging your Vacation Points with RCI for use at a later date.

I hope this information helps you discover the best way to use your Disney Vacation Club Membership during these uncertain times. Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
