Welcome to planDisney, Cristen! Let’s make sure your Easter at Walt Disney World is “egg-stra” special!
Easter Sunday is a beautiful time for renewal and celebration, and I love that you’re planning ahead to incorporate your faith into your vacation. In years past, Walt Disney World has hosted Easter Sunday services, including Catholic Mass, at the Fantasia Ballroom inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort. While there’s no official word yet on whether services will return in 2025, I recommend checking with Guest Services about a week before your trip (you can find their phone number under “
Non-Reservation Questions” on the Walt Disney World website).
If you’d like to attend Mass off-property, St. Mary Queen of the Universe Basilica is a wonderful option just a couple of miles from Disney. This church was designed with visiting travelers in mind, and they typically offer Easter services at 8 AM, 10 AM (also live-streamed), and noon.
Of course, Easter wouldn’t be complete without a little Disney magic and maybe a delicious brunch! Some of my favorite spots for a holiday meal include
Steakhouse 71,
Sanaa,
Ale & Compass Restaurant, and
Whispering Canyon Café, all of which have offered special Easter brunch menus in the past. And don’t forget to check out the
Easter Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog for seasonal treats, plus the details on where to find the incredible Easter Egg Displays at select Deluxe Resorts. These chocolate masterpieces are definitely worth a visit!
Cristen, I hope you have a truly “hoppy” Easter at Walt Disney World! If you have any other questions, I’m all ears!
