I got Category 1 Seating for Mickey's Backyard BBQ on Oct 24, 2017. The reservation says 5:30, does this mean I need to be there at 4:30 for the meet and greet or is the 5:30 time for the meet and greet and the show starts at 6:30?

    Dear Brandy,

Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about planning your rootin' tootin' good time at Disney's Backyard BBQ!

Category 1 seating is a terrific choice, in my opinion, because it comes with some awesome perks like you mentioned! If the posted time for the show is 5:30pm, guests with Category 1 tickets can arrive at least an hour early at 4:30pm and enjoy early access to characters and to the buffet dinner!

Hope that helps you with your magical planning!
