    Is the 5k at Castaway Cay available for every cruise ship, or just the Fantasy? (I know it's subject to availability, but we sail in Feb on the Magic, and I want to know if it's a possibility or not). Thanks very much!

    Welcome aboard, Barb! I, too, am looking forward to running the Castaway Cay 5K when we go back to Castaway Cay later this year. I have not yet participated in this fun run, but am so excited to run it for the first time this fall! My brother ran it last year when he traveled with our family and had a blast!

    The Castaway Cay 5K is usually held each time one of Disney's ships docks at Disney's private island, however it is subject to change, as you mentioned. So, while I can't promise you that it will be occurring on your particular sailing, I would assume it will.

    While you're on the ship, be sure to check your Personal Navigator the night before you dock at Castaway Cay. If the run will be taking place, there you will see it noted, along with time and meet-up point to check in and receive your race bib. Sometimes runners receive plastic Disney Cruise Line medals, and other times they receive a Magical Moments certificate showing you completed the run. Either way, it's a fun way to start your magical day on Castaway Cay!
