Well hey there, Tim, glad you found planDisney!
It sounds like you’re gearing up for an adventure to the West Coast and the Happiest Place on Earth!
I’m happy to say, yes, the
Disneyland Resort does accept cash payments. However, contactless payment across the resort is preferred. Did you know that you can also use a
Disney Gift Card at most restaurant and retail locations? I do recommend that if you don’t want to use a bank debit or credit card. You can pre-purchase an e-gift card then set up a
My Disney Gift Card account and link your card. If you want a physical gift card, you can purchase any gift card at Disneyland Resort or in advance at retailers like Target or Walmart. You’ll want to link all cards (up to 5) to your same account. While this isn’t a mobile wallet, it allows you to transfer funds between cards (especially if you happen to lose a physical gift card) and is also a great way to set budgets if you’ve got kiddos who want to spend their coins!
I’m not sure when you’re planning on coming out to enjoy the magic, Tim, but if you happen to visit now through October 31, you’ll be here to experience
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Looking to celebrate the merriest time of year? Make plans to visit during
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort (November 15, 2024 - January 6, 2025). If you’re a fan of celebrating magic, good food, family & friendship, and love a thrill -
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on November 15!
There’s always so much magic happening throughout the year, keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog, and be sure to follow
Disneyland on Instagram for all the fun! If you do have any other questions as you’re making your plans, you know where to find us!
Adventure is out there!
