How should we carry our spending money? Should we just use our debit card, put the cash on a visa card (like pre-paid cards) use traverl's checks or what!? Also, how much "chump change" (just plain ol' cash) should we keep on us for small vendors

    Hi Jessica,

When I travel to the Walt Disney World Resorts, I only bring my Key to the World card (room key) with me and about $20 for the day. I simply charge everything back to my Walt Disney World Resort room and then pay the balance at the end of my vacation.

With the popularity of the Disney Dining Plan, even the small carts are able to take a debit or credit cards for payment. There are few places which take cash only.

If I have a gift card, I leave that in the room. I still charge everything to my Key to the World card and then pay the balance with the gift cards the night before check out. This eliminates trying to remember how much money I have on a card or carrying more than one card with me at a time.

    Have a magical vacation!
