    Ahoy Belinda!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  I'm excited that your family has chosen Disney Cruise Line for your upcoming vacation!  Sailing the high seas is my favorite way to travel so I know your family is in for a real treat when you set sail with Captain Mickey!
When you disembark the ship for you fun ashore, there is no need to carry your birth certificates for your entire family. In fact, I recommend placing them in your stateroom safe for safe keeping during your sailing. You will need everyone's Key to the World cards and picture IDs for any one 18 and over.  You may have to show your ID when you arrive back to the pier area.
Thank you for the great question, Belinda! I hope my answer is helpful!
    Have a magical day!
