Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda!
What a great gift to be setting sail this holiday season on a
Very Merrytime Cruise. With all of the festivities and decorations on
each ship during this time of year, it is a wonderful time to be onboard.
Disney Cruise Line's
Cruise Contract allows each guest to bring two pieces of checked luggage, a carry on bag, as well as a personal item. If you can fit all of your
packing list into a bag and it meets the typical airline carry on luggage dimensions, it can go through the cruise terminal scanners and you can carry this bag onboard. I always bring a small carry on bag with my family's swimsuits and sunscreen so we don't have to wait for our luggage to hit the pool!
Any items you carry onboard must stay with you until they can be stored in your stateroom. If you have an early
port arrival time, this could mean you will need to carry your luggage with you until your stateroom is available.
Large luggage will need to be checked with the porters to go through the appropriate safety screenings. Crew Members and your Stateroom Host will ensure your luggage is delivered safely to your stateroom. No need to wait for it to arrive! In the rare event your luggage is not delivered, Disney Cruise Line will work quickly to locate any missing items and typically find them before the end of embarkation day.
Enjoy a worry free vacation with Captain Mickey this holiday season!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
