Can Caribbean Beach Resort guests swim in the pool late on New Year's Eve? If so, how late? Not just during covid-19 either. I'm looking for pre pandemic rules as well.

Hey there Jewel! Welcome to planDisney.

New Year's Eve is always such a fun night at Walt Disney World Resort. While things looked a little different this year, plenty of resort hotel dining and entertainment options were available late for guests to ring in the new year in true Disney style, so I am confident you will have so much to look forward to.

Jewel, typically Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort's feature pool, Fuentes del Morro closes around 11:00 PM on New Year's Eve, although it often closes closer to 8:00 PM in the winter months. Please note that all pool hours are subject to change at any time.

If you are looking for a late-night swim, did you know that the smaller leisure pools are open 24 hours a day? With the water kept at a balmy 82 degrees Fahrenheit, a quick dip in the pool after a day at the park can be incredibly refreshing.

You will find leisure pools dotted throughout the resort, with one located in each section of buildings, which are aptly named after a Caribbean country. I would recommend that you request a room in the Jamaica section since it has a great pool and is just a short stroll away from the Disney Skyliner station.

I hope that this helped, Jewel! Please come back here to planDisney if we can help answer any other questions as you plan your fabulous holiday vacation!

    See you real soon!
