Hi Jennifer,
We sure do have a lot in common! Disney-loving Jennifers from Virginia have to stick together, so let me give you the inside scoop on how to obtain admission cards for your
holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
When purchasing theme park tickets on the
Walt Disney World Resort website, you can select "See more delivery options" in the "Delivery and Contact Info" part of the checkout process. Choose a shipping option (U.S. Domestic Standard, U.S. Domestic Express, or International Express), and admission cards will be mailed to you. Your tickets will still be mobile tickets in the sense that they are automagically linked to your My Disney Experience account, which allows you to make
theme park reservations, download Disney MagicMobile passes, etc.
If you've already purchased your theme park tickets, Jennifer, you'll need to stop by a theme park ticket window upon arrival to get an admission card. There is no charge for admission cards but you should be prepared to show an email confirmation of the ticket purchase, the card used to make the payment, and the cardholder's photo ID.
The week between Christmas and New Year's tends to be quite busy at the parks, Jennifer, so I encourage you to make a theme park reservation for each park day as soon as possible, which can be done without having your physical cards in hand. One person can make theme park reservations for your entire party as long as everyone's tickets are properly
linked and you are connected as
Family & Friends in My Disney Experience.
While you're weighing your options for tapping in at theme park entry, it's helpful to know that other options for entering a theme park include MagicBand, MagicBand+, and Disney MagicMobile passes. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me
directly for more information about the various
methods of entry.
Plan magic; planDisney.
Jennifer
