I have a card which was provided to me at guest services in exchange for a paper ticket last year. I purchased new admission online and was wondering if I could link the old card to the new admission on my app so we don’t have to do it at the park.

Welcome to planDisney, Lisa!  How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this week.  I hope you enjoy seeing all the fun fall decor and sampling some yummy fall treats!

You'll be happy to know that MagicBands and ticket cards are reusableAny active MagicBand or card that is linked to your My Disney Experience profile can be used to access your admission.  You don't need to do anything special to link your newly purchased admission to your old card; as long as both the ticket and the card are linked to your profile they will work in conjunction together.

You can check the status of any admission cards linked to your account by selecting "MagicBands & Cards" in your My Disney Experience account.  On the My Disney Experience mobile app, you'll find "MagicBands & Cards" in "My Profile".  You'll be able to activate/deactivate your cards there.  If you were signed in to My Disney Experience when you purchased your ticket, it should already be linked to your account.  If not, you can link your ticket to your profile by entering your ticket confirmation number.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions.  Enjoy your visit!
