Is there a car rental company on WDW resort grounds or is there one nearby?

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Yes, Disney has a car rental site, and in classic Disney fashion they have made it very convenient for you to get your wheels!

The Car Care Center at Walt Disney World has a car rental facility, located not far from the Magic Kingdom Park. You can rent from Enterprise, Alamo, or National at this location. To make life even easier, there is a complimentary shuttle service from select Walt Disney World resorts, theme parks, and Disney Springs. You can schedule by calling (407) 824-3470, extension 1.

There is also a Hertz car rental desk at the Hilton at Bonnet Creek, which is nearby. Getting there might require some more effort, but if you are a Hertz customer it may be worth the time.

If you just need to get from Point A to Point B within Walt Disney World, but want to speed things up, Disney did just announce the return of the Disney Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft. It is a great way to travel in polka-dotted style!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
