Hi Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are glad you brought your question to us today.
As part of
enhanced health and safety measures being implemented at Walt Disney World Resort, theme park attendance is being managed by the
Disney Park Pass reservation system. All Guests must have a reservation as well as valid
admission to enter the theme parks. Theme park capacity is being limited in an effort to foster physical distancing.
The Walt Disney Company does not release attendance figures and has not publicly announced a specific capacity limit for the theme parks.
I can tell you that Guests who have visited Walt Disney World Resort in recent weeks have enjoyed low wait times for attractions. Even popular attractions such as
Slinky Dog Dash and
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train have had wait times around 20 minutes or less. You can take a look at current wait times from home (during
park operating hours) in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. If you don't see a park map on the home screen, click the location button in the menu at the bottom. This should pull up a map of
Magic Kingdom Park with current wait times for open attractions displayed. You can use the filter button in the upper left to filter by park, and the button in the upper right to change from map view to list view. The menu at the top center of the page defaults to wait times, but you can use the drop-down menu to locate restrooms, shops, dining locations (select a dining location to view hours for that location), and more. I checked wait times just now, and noticed only two attractions had wait times longer than 15 minutes:
Frozen Ever After and
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway were both listed at 25 minutes.
As you prepare for your upcoming visit, be sure to check out the "
Know Before You Go" page for information and updates about what
Returning to a World of Magic will look like. Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any other questions you may have. We are always happy to help. Wishing you a magical vacation!
