    I can’t get my tickets to link to my mobile app my girlfriend bought them but I was trying to connect my ticket I also can’t get my manic band to connect. Help

    Hiya James!

    I love that you and your bibbidi bobbidi boo will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth together! Your time at Walt Disney World Resort will be sweeter than a Pineapple DOLE Whip®, and I am so excited your trip is coming up so very soon!

    First, you will need to ensure your theme park ticket isn’t already linked under your girlfriend’s My Disney Experience account. If it is, she can reassign it to you. To check, have your girlfriend sign into her My Disney Experience Mobile app, click on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right corner, and select Tickets and Passes. If she sees both tickets are there but are under her name, there should be a “Reassign Ticket” option she can select to assign one of the tickets to you. 

    If the theme park ticket isn’t there, you will want to open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app and follow the same steps to get to the Tickets and Passes page. You will then see a “+” on the top right corner, which, once selected, you will be able to link your tickets there using the confirmation number in the email provided to your girlfriend at the time of purchase. 

    Please do be sure the two of you are connected with each other through the Family & Friends list to plan together. To do this, please click this link and scroll down until you can select the + Add a Guest option. You will be asked how you would like to add the Guest, and you can choose from a series of answers, including “I’ll enter their name and age,” which I find to be the easiest. Then, add your girlfriend’s email address, and it will send an invitation to her to connect with you. Once she accepts the invitation, the two of you can begin planning together.

    If your girlfriend purchased the tickets through the Walt Disney World Resort website, the MagicBands might already be linked. To check, you will need to open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app once again and tap on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right corner of your screen. You will then scroll down and select “My Profile” and then “MagicBands and Cards.” Here you will find if your MagicBand has already been connected by checking the 12 digit code on the back of your MagicBand puck to see if it matches the one showing on the screen.

    If it is not yet linked, Hakuna Matata, James! It means no worries, as you can link it here. To do this, please scroll down on the page until you see “Link a MagicBand” and tap “Link.” Once you follow the steps and confirm, your MagicBand should be all set!
