Welcome back to planDisney! I just ordered my family’s pre-arrival MagicBands, so I’m happy to help you out!
On
Disney World’s website, hover over My Disney Experience, then click My MagicBands and Cards. As long as your
Disney World resort reservation is linked to your account, you’ll be able to click the Get Started button to look at all of your MagicBand options and place your order. Just make sure to order your bands 11 or more days prior to your trip if you’d like them to be delivered to your house.
It’s good to note that while the discounted MagicBands are currently unavailable for resort guests, purchasing pre-arrival MagicBands will allow you to customize the bands so that each guest’s name appears on the back of the band. It was also super easy to start using our MagicBands because each band was already linked to the correct person.
If you’re hoping for more options, you can also purchase your MagicBands from
DisneyStore.com, but they will not be customized. Just make sure each band is linked to the correct person when setting them up, since the bands are non-transferable.
If you decide to forgo MagicBands, you can use the
MagicMobile service on your phone or ask for a Key to the World at the front desk of your resort. I will say, though, that my boys absolutely loved the interactive features of the
MagicBand+ during our trip last week! And I love the convenience of them and the fact that they can be used during future trips.
