I can't seem to find the date of the taping of the Christmas Day Parade at the Magic Kingdom for 2010. I know it is usually the first weekend in December. Going to be there Dec 8 through Dec 15. Probably going to miss is, but would like to go if we can.

    Hi Raymond,

It is great fun to be able to take part in the taping of the Annual Disney Christmas Day parade. I have been lucky enough to be there the last few years during the taping, and last year was able to be in the Jonas Brothers taping. It was great!

Unfortunately it looks like you are going to miss it by just a few days. Weather permitting, the taping is scheduled for December 5th and 6th. Guests who wish to be part of the actual taping need to sign up in advance and complete paperwork, however the taping area along Main Street is open during a good deal of the taping and guests are able to wander up and down Main Street and other areas to watch the show and the tapings. If you decide to move your trip up a few days, be sure to head over to Magic Kingdom early as it tends to get very crowded on these days. Don't worry if you miss it though, the finished product is still much better!
