Hello there Tammy, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sending in your question. I'd be happy to assist with getting your Disney World park ticket all ready to go. Your magical trip will be here very soon... Woo hoo!
Personally, my daughter is my Disney Bestie and my ride-or-die. I hope this means you and your daughter get to have a wonderful time together on this upcoming visit!
I have a few ideas to try, in order to get your park ticket to appear inside your
My Disney Experience app. It sounds like the account your daughter reassigned your ticket to, in her Family & Friends List, is not linked to the account you are logging into My Disney Experience with. Did she perhaps add your name manually to her Friends & Friends List? If this is the case, it is a "local" account managed by her. All you'll need to do is have your daughter take these two steps:
- Link to the My Disney account you log in to the My Disney Experience app with, by adding it to her Family & Friends List.
- Reassign the ticket to this linked account instead.
For the first step, you will need to open your My Disney Experience app. From the home page select the "☰" menu icon in the lower right corner, scroll down to Account - Profile, and select "Show My Linking Code". Share either this QR code or manual code with your daughter, so she can link the account you are using to her Family & Friends list. She can enter the code you share in her app by going to Account - Profile, Family & Friends List tab, then scroll down to "+ Add a Guest". Note that if you select "Scan their linking code" on the next screen it will also give the option to "Manually Enter a Code".
Now your daughter can reassign the ticket (again) to this newly linked account... and you should be able to see it! If she no longer sees the "Reassign Ticket" option for your ticket, call
Disney Tickets and Hotel Reservations and a Cast Member can help transfer the ticket to the correct account. As the purchaser of the ticket, she may need to be the one to call.
This may sound tricky, but I recently did the same thing with my daughter's account and we were able to get everything transferred and reassigned. She has grown into a fine young Disney adult, and was ready for her own My Disney Experience account she could manage. Aaahh... it was a proud, pixie-dusted moment for this Disney Mom. It sounds like you have have passed along your love of Disney, too!
Tammy, I hope this helps and that you have a practically perfect time at Disney World! I'll be sending pixie dust your way, and wishing that you get to eat all the Mickey snacks... ride all the exciting rides... and enjoy making incredible, magical memories. And please visit us at planDisney any time, we love to offer tips and recommendations.
Hi ho, hi ho... it's off to fun you go!
Tami
