I cant get my magic band + to assign to our tickets on the disneyland app? I need to assign 6 people under 1 account. I have 6 different bands.

    Hello, Sarah,

Uh oh! Is Experiment 626 (AKA Stitch) causing trouble again? I wonder if we can ask Nani to take him on a Hawaiian roller coaster ride as a distraction while we get to the bottom of this MagicBand+ issue.

If following the regular MagicBand+ setup steps doesn’t work and the MagicBand+ support page doesn’t provide the answer, I have a few more suggestions I would like to share.

    1. I suggest making sure the MagicBand+ is charged in preparation for pairing with your mobile phone and linking to the app. It is not absolutely necessary for linking a band with your account, but it is necessary for Bluetooth pairing with your mobile device. Bluetooth pairing will also allow you to use the Disneyland mobile app to customize your band.
    2. Be sure to download the latest version of the Disneyland mobile app on your mobile device. In some extreme cases, it may help to uninstall and reinstall the app as well.
    3. Sometimes, fully powering off and restarting your mobile phone may be helpful.
    4. Sometimes, I have had to reset or factory reset my band. This has been especially helpful when going back and forth between visits to the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort.
    5. I found that I could not link my wife’s band to my Disneyland Resort account if it was already linked to her account. But it is also easy to unlink a MagicBand+ and link it to another account.
    6. I have heard that the name assigned to a theme park ticket can sometimes affect assigning a band to it, especially if there doesn’t seem to be any name assigned to the ticket. To make changes to the names assigned to a ticket, you may call the Tickets phone line.
    7. As a last resort, you may stop by any of the Guest Relations locations throughout the Disneyland Resort to seek technical assistance.

I hope one of these troubleshooting tips helps to get you back on track toward making magical memories at The Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.

    See ya real soon, Sarah!
