Welcome to planDisney, Martha Jo!
I’m thrilled to hear you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort! It’s incredible to see our favorite fairytales brought to life at
Magic Kingdom Park, experience adventures in far-off lands in
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, ride on the back of an Ikran (Mountain Banshee) in
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, and taste cuisine from around the world at
EPCOT! You’re going to love it! But before we get too far, let’s discuss how to purchase your theme park tickets with the
Park Hopper Option.
You’ll be able to purchase your theme park tickets on the Walt Disney World Resort website. If you look towards the top of the page, you’ll see
Parks & Tickets, and under the drop-down menu, you can choose
Theme Park Tickets under the
Admissions category. But no worries, Martha Jo! I’m happy to walk you through the purchase! Please follow the steps below:
-You’ll first want to visit the
Theme Park Tickets page by clicking here.
-Next, scroll down until you see
Standard Theme Park Ticket; it should be the last option, and select
Continue.
-At the top of the page, you will be given the opportunity to check for theme park reservation availability. Theme park reservations are required to enter the theme parks through January 8, 2024. Beginning January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets.
-Then, select the number of days you would like to go to the parks.
-Choose the start date of the ticket from the calendar option.
-Next, you'll be given the choice to add the
Park Hopper Option, which you will want to select.
-Now, you’ll want to select the
Number of Tickets needed for your vacation.
-Once you’ve seen the current selection and it looks good, please choose
Continue.
-You’ll get an option to customize your ticket by adding the
Memory Maker. This is optional, and you can select
Continue.
-Now, you’ll view your cart, and you should see your park ticket(s) there. If it looks good, please select
Check Out to pay and finalize the transaction.
If you need any help during the purchase, please call
New Tickets, and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you.
If you’re thinking about staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, perhaps you’d prefer to make this a Walt Disney World Resort
Vacation Package. The vacation package combines a Disney Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets, and you can customize the package to suit your own budget. After making a deposit during the initial booking, you would be able to pay off the remainder of the balance on your own time until the final payment is due, which is usually 30 days before your check-in date. Please do keep in mind that dates and prices are subject to change, so make sure to take note of your final payment due date.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Martha Jo!
