Hello, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help you with your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
To-do list for my next Disney trip:
*Pack Minnie Ears
*Find comfortable walking shoes
*Buy theme park tickets/ make park reservations
I love it when I can start checking items off my list! But what's one to do when there aren't any theme park reservations available? Don't despair! Your best strategy is going to be persistence.
Park Reservations can become available in two ways: Disneyland opens additional availability, or someone cancels their plans. While Disneyland Resort sporadically adds new availability, there's no guarantee or set schedule. Also, guests' travel plans often change at the last minute. It's not uncommon to find availability in the days or hours leading up to your trip. As Dory would say, "Just keep checking, checking, checking the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar!" I realize that flying in from out of state does add an extra layer of accountability, and it may be too stressful to wait. If you already have your theme park tickets, you can always save them for a future trip. Theme Park Reservations typically open up 120 days in advance.
Best of luck, Jennifer...I'm sending some pixie dust your way! I also suggest researching the Disneyland website for some fun
Halloween-themed events. During Spooky Season, you'll find the iconic
giant Mickey pumpkin in Disneyland Park, and lots more jack-o-lantern grins can be spotted in window displays on your way down Main Street, U.S.A. Have a SPOOK-tacular time!
