Hey, Karen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with your question. My husband and I recently enjoyed a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and enjoyed a few meals over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Lodge and Villas offer so many amenities and activities to make your stay practically perfect in every way. I must say, though, that enjoying the
Jiko Wine Tasting is definitely a delicious way to spend the afternoon! While they can accommodate walk-ups if there is space, I do highly recommend that you make a reservation online or by
calling Disney Dining.
The current cost of Jiko Wine Tasting is set at $25 but is subject to change at any time. Note that tax and 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your total. You will need to pay the cost for each person in your party when completing your reservation. When I took a look at it just now, it worked out to be just a tad over $31 per person. We have considered this an excellent price for the event, during which we have enjoyed some amazing wines and great conversations with the sommelier over the course of the hour spent at Jiko - The Cooking Place.
The Jiko Wine Tasting usually lasts until 4:00 p.m. Be sure to check and see if the complimentary Culinary Tour is being held that day at 4:15 p.m. This tour will take you through Boma - Flavors of Africa and Jiko - The Cooking Place, giving you a chance to sample some tastes from each dining location.
Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
