    I can't figure out how much it cost to rent a boat at the Polynesian, and if you need a reservation?

    I have never seen the boats all booked up, so unless you are there at the very busiest times of the year, I think you would probably be safe not bothering with a reservation. But if you know you want to do it at a specific time, on a specific day, go ahead and make one. There is nothing wrong with covering your bases.

    Now prices do change, but the last time I was there the Sea Racers (small 1-2 seater boats) ran a little over $30 for 30 minutes, and around $45 for a full hour. Taxes not included.

    They also have larger boats, like the Boston Whaler for around $45 for a half hour, and a pontoon boat (sorry, don't know what size it was) for the same price. I think they still have small sailboats too, but can't recall the price. My guess is that it is the same or less.
