We can't afford to stay at the Disney Parks this year. We will be staying at a timeshare. I am taking my 8,and 3 year old children. We will also have my 6 week old baby girl with us. I need some advice in planning!! I have never taken a newborn to Disney!

    Korin,

I have a taken a newborn to Disney and it is very do-able! First, I recommend purchasing a clip-on, battery powered fan that will attach to your stroller. Since your little one will likely be doing a lot of napping, this will be a big help in making her more comfortable.

For young children, I like to pack each days' outfit in a ziploc bag. This saves a lot of time in the mornings because the kids can just grab a bag and get dressed, without rooting through the suitcases to make an outfit.. For a baby, this is also helpful for you because it's easy to grab an extra outfit and throw that baggie into your backpack/diaper bag. This not only gives you a fresh change of clothes for later in the day, should you need it, this also gives you a seal-able bag to store wet/dirty clothes in while you are in the parks.

Grab a park map at the entrance to each theme park you visit, and make note of the Baby Care Centers. These are great (and air-conditioned!) spots to feed, diaper, or just unwind with your baby.

And most importantly, do not stress! You are visiting the most family-friendly resort on the planet, and Disney really has thought of everything. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to take a baby to Disney - even a newborn!
