I can't get and ADR at Chef Mickey's for 3/30-it's full. I know people often don't show up, but do not cancel. Can we show up that night and be seated if someone doesn't show up within a certain time or do they have to keep their reservation?

You can always try for a walk-in. I have done this many times at "sold out" character meals and have been successful about 60% of the time.

Before you try the walk-in though, I would keep calling back to Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) a few times a week. Things could change a lot in the next six weeks and a reservation may yet become available. If you end up needing to try the walk-in, I would go as early as possible. Maybe even just before the resaurant begins it's first seating. Go up to the podium and explain to the cast member there what you would like to do. You may have to wait a bit, but the odds are decent that you will be able to eat there. Also, the smaller your party is, the more ability they will have to work you in.
