I cannot see my reservations in Disney for December. Where is that on the website? I also need to change the reservations, how do I do that? I find the site very confusing. Thank you.

Hi Michele, and welcome back to planDisney! I’d be happy to help you navigate the website and make sure you’re all set for your trip!

To view your current Disney Resort hotel reservation, find My Disney Experience toward the top right of the Disney World website and then click My Plans. If you booked your stay directly through this website while logged into your My Disney account, the reservation should magically appear on this page. If not, you’ll need to link the reservation. To do this, hover over the Resort Hotel blue circle and select Link a Reservation. You’ll be prompted to enter your confirmation number and the last name on the reservation. Once this is done, your stay should appear under My Plans. Next to the resort name, dates, and confirmation number, you’ll see a Change Reservation button. This will bring you to a page where you can modify your travel dates, party, resort, or room type.

If you run into any issues, don't hesitate to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone number. A Cast Member would be happy to get everything sorted out.

Now, let’s talk about your trip. December is my favorite time to visit Disney World when the theme parks and resort hotels are covered in sparkling holiday decorations! My family loves to take a break from the theme parks and spend time looking at the incredible gingerbread creations at the different resort hotels. Some of our favorites are the life-sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, the gingerbread carousel at Beach Club, and the gingerbread animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

There are so many special events happening this time of year, like the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Some of my must-dos include enjoying treats from the Holiday Kitchens, learning about stories and traditions from around the world through the Holiday Storytellers, and hearing Voices of Liberty sing Christmas and Hanukkah songs in the American Adventure Pavilion. It’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

And if you’re not ready for the night to end, there are usually two specially ticketed events in December—Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is my favorite with the holiday parade and fireworks, but I went to Jollywood Nights last year and had so much fun with the old-time Hollywood glamour vibe and all the live entertainment! Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as they announce all the holiday happenings later this year.

I hope you have the best visit to Disney World during this extra magical time of the year! If you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
