Hi Shirley,
It is always the most magical time of the year here at planDisney, so I’m glad you stopped by with your question! You must be so excited to be heading to
Walt Disney World Resort during the truly most wonderful time of the year – the holidays!
Some of my family’s core holiday memories are from our experiences at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays – Candlelight Processional. We are always amazed at the way the Celebrity Storytellers, along with the choir and the 50-piece orchestra bring the Christmas story to life. It truly is a moving experience and I’m thrilled that you have the opportunity to experience it!
Shirley, typically the showtimes are currently scheduled for 5:15 PM, 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM. One of the features I love about the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages is that breakfast is usually offered by at least two restaurants,
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion and
Garden Grill Restaurant in The Land Pavilion, as well as lunch or dinner offered at each of the restaurants. So, this gives you the option of dining at any time of day before the 5:15 p.m. show. Now, I like a leisurely meal so that I can enjoy not only my food but also all the ambiance and, in some locations, the Character interaction. So, I encourage you to make your reservation around 3:00 p.m. or earlier. This will give you plenty of time for your meal and time to head to the American Gardens Theatre at a leisurely pace while enjoying other joyful festival offerings. Reservations for the dining packages open on October 17, 2023, so mark your calendar!
Remember, if you decide to book an early meal, you can always grab a snack from one of the
Holiday Kitchens before you head into the theatre.
While the full menus haven’t been released yet, the sampling of items sounds delightful.
Shirley, have you heard that
this year's narrators have been announced (though subject to change)? I am very excited about this year’s lineup!
I hope this information helps you to have a holly jolly time, Shirley! Please stop by again and let me know if you have other questions.
Wishing you a very merry vacation,
Shannon
