Hey there, Carolyn!
The
Candlelight Processional, which takes place several times each night at
Epcot throughout the holiday season, is my all time favorite Christmas event ever. I walk away from this show feeling the spirit of the season, and I never miss the chance to go.
The show itself, which combines the music of an amazing choir and a fantastic orchestra with the narration of a celebrity special guest - who IS there in person - lasts about 40 minutes. The show begins as the choir processes in, and it usually ends with a few words from the special guest narrator. The narrator tells the story of the Nativity, and the music is a selection of beautifully moving and inspirational holiday songs. I'm tapping my foot right now thinking of some of my favorites.
If you decided to go, I highly recommend a
Candlelight Processional Dining Package. The package gives you priority entrance to the show, plus a delicious meal. On a busy night - like Christmas Eve, for example - or with a favorite narrator - yes, Neil Patrick Harris, it's you - the standby line for guests who have not purchased a package usually starts forming hours before the show, and some of those guests may not have a seat at all.
I hope you opt to go see this holiday event and love it as much as I do.
Thanks for your question, Carolyn!
